I have made the difficult decision to close Lulu's in December. This will take place in two phases. The first phase will be closing the day to day operation of Lulu's. Our last day for walk up business will be Tuesday, November 30. During the month of December, we will be available for catering and will be doing our regular holiday baking by order. This decision has not been made lightly. I'm sure that you are all aware of how difficult this past year and a half has been for the restaurant industry and we have felt those difficulties like everyone else.

When we started the non-profit, it was with the hope that the operations of Lulu's would help fund our charitable activities, and that was happening up until the pandemic hit. With the resulting drop in business, hard decisions have to be made. You, our supporters, have been so generous and I don't feel that keeping the business afloat is a good use of funds meant to be used by the non-profit. I am so grateful for each of you who support the work we do with those living on the edge here in our community. I plan to turn my energies more fully to this work. I hope that you will think of us for any Holiday baked good you may need, and remember we will have some availability for catering during the month of December.
